Our Program

Carl Albert Schools

Carl Albert High School and Middle School are a part of the Midwest City-Del City (Mid-Del) District. Band begins in 6th grade at Carl Albert Middle School.

Our Performing Ensembles

At Carl Albert, all students participate in Concert and Marching Band. Students may also perform in small ensembles or as soloists at Solo and Ensemble Contest. In addition, opportunities exist for students to perform with members of our school orchestra as part of our Full Orchestra or in the Pit Orchestra for our school musicals.

Our Titan Marching Band is the largest and most visible ensemble, competing at marching contests, performing their show at football games, and playing at school spirit events. Within the Marching Band is our Carl Albert Color Guard which involves dance, flags and rifle work.

The HS Jazz 1 Band meets daily and performs at contests and festivals across the state and serves as our pep band at home basketball games. The CAMS Jazz and HS Jazz Band 2 meet after school and also perform at various contests and festivals.

The CAHS and CAMS Percussion Ensembles are made up of all percussionists in our middle and high school. These groups allow our percussionists to grow their skills and play a variety of music outside of their concert band ensemble.

The Winter Guard is a competitive performing arts group with dance, flags and rifle work, under the umbrella of marching arts. This auditioned group begins after Color Guard ends in the fall.
