Carl Albert Middle School 7th & 8th Grade Band

Students in the Carl Albert 7th and 8th Grade Bands continue their musical development in full ensemble classes. Students continue to grow their understanding of music fundamentals, tone production, technique, and ensemble performance. The Bands perform in 3-4 concerts per year, participate in OSSAA Band Contest, OSSAA Solo and Ensemble Contest, and perform at 3-4 home middle school football games.

• OSSAA Outstanding Achievement Award (Superior ratings in both Concert and

          Sight Reading) - 2023-24

• OSSAA Solo & Ensemble Contest - 2023-24 - 30 First Division Ratings and

          6 Second Division Ratings
